Public Private Partnerships

We are a dynamic organisation which is founded upon around three decades of partnering experience with the NHS and other public sector organisations. The partners have been involved with and secured some of the most successful Public Private Partnerships (‘PPPs’) in the United Kingdom, from NHS LIFT, HUB Scotland, Building Schools for the Future, Local Asset Based Vehicles and most recently Strategic Estates Partnerships (‘SEPs’).

Our success is not just founded upon a clever bidding strategy or having a big brand name, but rather developing a deep understanding of our client’s needs and aspirations. Through experience, we have also developed detailed knowledge of what makes a partnership successful. Strategic Estates Partnerships (SEPs)

The directors have been involved and have actively promoted the use of Strategic Estates Partnerships in the NHS for a number of years now, helping SEPs to become a Department of Health certified framework for NHS organisations to procure a private sector partner. Most significantly two of the directors have been involved in the bidding, procurement and day to day management of one of the most recently established SEPs in 2015 in the Midlands.

Property Development

CityHeart is an established successful property investment and development company which has been developing and delivering public and private sector projects for the past eleven years.

Having no links to a major construction company has enabled our business to develop innovative and bespoke award winning facilities for our clients at genuinely competitive prices. Through this we are able to drive value for money into projects by testing the whole construction pricing market as well as seeking the most competitive funding terms through institutional and non-institutional funders to ensure we deliver the most competitive terms available for our clients.

Therefore, we are able to provide our clients with the full development services from site identification, acquisition, design, planning, funding, and construction and ongoing asset management services.

Asset Management

CityHeart created a specific Asset Management business to respond to its clients’ needs to provide such a service. CityHeart Living was created to enter into contracts with clients and directly deliver services on-site for its customers and partners.

CityHeart Living delivers the on-going operational management including Hard and Soft Facilities Management services and lifecycle on behalf our clients or landlords. The company is a 100% owned subsidiary of CityHeart Limited and is headed by Patrick Hughes, former Head of Estates at Edinburgh Napier University.

This asset management capability also allows us to aid the design development process for our clients in the new development side of our business by providing strategic choices given lifecycle impact of an item versus its capital value over the lifetime of a proposed development.
